Lacey grew up in Grand Rapids, MN, but her part-time home has always been Rainy Lake and the Borderland Area – either at her grandparents’ home or at her family’s cabin. While spending countless weekends up north and enjoying the best all four seasons have to offer, she knew that this is where her “real home” was.
She became a full-time Rainy Lake resident in 2019 after moving to the area to open a retail shop on Main Street International Falls. After selling the business, it was evident that real estate was her new adventure.
Lacey’s dad, Brent, was a Realtor in the area for nearly ten years, and that’s where her love for real estate began. Hanging out at his office in Ranier and sticking business cards into car windows were a few of her early-year real estate tasks. Being a bit more tech-savvy, Lacey thinks she can expand on that marketing idea quite a bit for her personal clients.
A common theme that Lacey has observed whether it’s boating, fishing, snowmobiling, or any number of outdoor adventures is that Rainy Lake and the surrounding areas have something for everyone. She says that once people experience the area for the first time they are kind of hooked, and many of them start thinking about finding their own home or cabin in this unique lake area. She is looking forward to helping them become successful in fulfilling that dream.
